Zusammenfassung:	A Manufacturing apparatus (50) is disclosed for use in the production and distribution of electronic point and sale devices of the type having a variety of components such as operator input devices, processors and cash storage units. The apparatus incorporates a transport device (1) for the components, the device having means (15,16,17) for releasably engaging the components and being movable between workstations of manfacturing facility. The apparatus reduces the work space required and significantly reduces production times for each unit as the untis may be easily moved between operational areas of the facility. As the components are securely held in position on the transport device (10) they can be easily moved without risk of damage.
