The apparatus (10) is able to interface and integrate with one or more point of sale electronic transactions such as display information (220), generate a telephone top up (240), produce a lottery ticket (250), pay a bill (260), generate a licence (270), download a computer game (280) and/or an audio/video file (290), transmit a money transfer (300), generate vouchers (310), load credit on a card (320), act as an electronic post office (330) and sell through a product dispenser (340). It also provides retail transaction processing functions as available on a cash register terminal such as cash (200) and credit card (210) transactions, print a receipt (230) and generate reports.
