| Zusammenfassung: | The hip protector is formed into an approx. domed shape from synthetic resin foam having an embedded reinforcing core so as to go along man's neck of a femur. The protector has a flexibility with the following flat compressive strength (A) and lateral compressive strength (B). (A) is a flat withstand load by a 10 mm displacement of 20 to 10 0 kgf . (B) is a lateral withstand load by a 10 mm displacement of 5 to 30 kgf . The outer contour of the approx. domed shape is an ellipse having a major to minor axis ratio of 1.3 to 2. The ratio of the depth of the domed shape and the minor axis is 0.1 to 0.5. |
