PROCESS FOR ALCOHOLYSIS OF NATURAL TRIGLYCERIDES

Alcoholysis of natural, previously opt. deacidified tri:glycerides is carried out with an 1.5-10 fold excess of 1-4C alcohols in the presence of 0.5-10% additive contg multivalent-metal-alcoholates and fatty acid soaps. The reaction is completed by the addn of an alkaline catalyst, at 60-130 deg. C.
