Zusammenfassung:	2,2-Dimethyl-N-dichloroacetyl -thiazolidine (I) is new. Herbicidal compsn. comprises a herbicidally effective amt. of an acylated 1,3-dicarbonyl cpd. contg. a moiety of formula (II) or tautomeric form (where R = substd. aromatic moiety); and a non-phytotoxic, antidotally-effective amt. of a cpd. from (a) haloalkanoic acid amides, (b) aromatic oxime derivs., (c) thiazole carboxylic acids and derivs., and (d) 1,8-naphthalic anhydride; the wt. ratio of herbicide:antidote being 1:10-30:1. Pref. (II) is part of an opt. substd. 5- or 6-membered carbocyclic ring or heterocyclic ring contg. 1 or 2 heteroatoms.
