Zusammenfassung:Certain premixes or fodder components contain spherical fat and other powdered cpds.. Fat globules are prepd. from beef tallow with its low melting fraction removal by pressing. Process involves following steps: (A) To 100 pts. wt. of melted, pressed tallow 0.0001-0.05 pts. wt. antioxidant, 3-5 pts. wt. emulsifier pref. lecithin or lecithin deriv. - is added. The prod. is homogenised and spherical particles are formed by spraying into a compartment of cooled air. - (B) As particles are formed in cooled air, they are surface coated by a fluid-powder mix. comprising 0.3-5 wt.% inorganic and/or 17.7-20 wt. % of organic antiblocking agents (%-base; tallow). 6-90 wt.% powdered tallow is mixed with premixes or animal fodder components.
