Gravity flow is utilised with theses elements to carry out mixing, aeration, mechanical, physical or chemical operations by continuous or intermittent operation of the feed-screw. - The equipment comprises the following: feed screw, horizontal trays located within a vessel and contg. static mixing elements. If required inlet facility, and discharge facility or discharge mechanism are located at the top and the bottom of the vessel respectively.
