Zusammenfassung: | The invention relates to the microbiological industry and relates in particular to a process for the preparation of L-proline. The process according to the invention comprises cultivating mutants of microorganisms of the genus Brevibacterium which are resistant both to 3,4-dehydroproline and to an elevated osmotic pressure of the medium and/or are incapable of breaking down and decomposing L-proline, in a nutrient medium containing sources of carbon and nitrogen, inorganic salts and growth factors for microorganisms, and subsequent isolation of the final product from the culture liquid. |
