METHOD FOR REGENERATING THE CHARGES OF CATION EXCHANGER OF PARTIAL DESALINIZING EQUIPMENT IN ENVIRONMENTALLY HARMLESS WAY

The H+ exhausted cation exchanger is regenerated with an aq. mineral acid and the excess reagent is then neutralised. The Na+ cation exchanger is regenerated with an aq. soln. of NaCl. The eluent is re-used after sepg. CaCO3 and MgCO3 with Na2CO3.
