PROCESS FOR REGULATING THE FLOW CAPACITY OF SYNTHETIC RESIN COMPOSITIONS

Approx. 5% w/w silica - ferric oxide mixture is added to the usual ingredients of synthetic resins. Sensitive changes in viscosity are achieved by varying the molecular ratio of SiO2 : Fe2O3 between 120 : 1 and 1 : 1. Application: pastes, putties, glues, synthetic concrete, packing and coatings.
