Plant extracts from easily accessible medicinal plants having bactericide and fungicide effects as well as increasing the resilience of capillary blood vessels are prepd. by extracting 2 parts by wt. poplar buds and 0.01-20.0 parts by wt. mint leaves, and opt. 0.01-20.0 parts by wt. benedict-grass, with, based on the total wt. of the drugs, the 3-100 fold, pref. the 4-40 fold, or better still the 8-15 fold amt. of an organic solvent at a temp. between 4 deg.C and the b.p. of the solvent, and/or with water at 4-100 deg.C.
