Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to motor vehicle engineering. The aim of the invention is a defined travel limitation of the accelerator linkage on the drive foot pedal, in order to save fuel by preventing a high engine speed. At the same time traffic safety requirements must also be met. The object of the invention is to create a basic circuit for an accelerator travel limitation on motor vehicles, which can be used regardless of the design of the accelerator linkage and comprises only a few components. The essence of the invention lies in the fact that a pneumatic cylinder with piston rod limiting the linkage lever is assigned to the drive foot pedal located on the drive pedal shaft and the pneumatic cylinder is connected to a 3/2-way valve, to which any number of controlling signal emitters are assigned. The sphere of application of the invention is motor vehicles which are equipped with injection or carburettor engine and have accelerator operation.
