Zusammenfassung: | Equipment in contact with heating fluids is cleaned and the surfaces of the equipment are protected by first loosening the existing deposits with a 0.5-1.5 kg per cubic meter, pref. 0.7-0.9 kg per cubic meter soln. of a non-ionic detergent, pref. a poly-ethylene-glycol, removing the loosened water-hardness deposits with a soln. of a known descaler, pref. poly-maleic-anhydride having a concn. of 0.02-0.1 kg per cubic meter, a pH below 4.5, pref. below 3.5 and contg. a known inhibitor, and/or treating the surfaces with a 0.1-0.7 kg per cubic meter, pref. 0.3-0.5 kg per cubic meter soln. of an organic sulphonic acid combined with a known inhibitor, and opt. passivating the surfaces with a catalytically activated 0.2-0.5 kg per cubic meter, pref. 0.35-0.45 kg per cubic meter soln. of hydrazine having a pH of at least 10(10-11), by pumping the reagents through the system at a linear flow velocity of at least 0.5 m per sec., pref. 1-2 meter per sec. |
