Zusammenfassung:According to the proposed method, a predetermined proportion of styrol based polymer beads is suspended in an aqueous medium by intensive mixing. A styrol type monomer is added to this aqueous mixture. Polymerization is carried out in suspension, in the presence of an initiator, an insoluble inorganic stabilizer and an activated surface material, such that acrylic acid-2-ethyl-hexyl-acrylate copolymer ionic protective colloid is introduced into the reactor. Then, driver material is added to produce polymer beads of uniform size, which can be made into a foam.
