PHARMACOLOGICALLY ACTIVE PEPTIDE DERIVATIVES, PROCESS FOR THEIR PREPARATION AND PHARMACEUTICAL COMPOSITIONS CONTAINING THE SAME

The invention relates to a compound of formula (I) V-X-Phe-Trp-Leu-Y-Z wherein V means H, pHOPA, Suc or an amino protective group, X means one or more amino acids selected from the group consisting of Arg, His, Lys, Phe, Trp, Tyr and substituted derivatives thereof, or a direct bond, Y means an amino acid attached through normal or reduced peptide bond and selected from the group consisting of Ala, ß-Ala, Gly, Ile, Leu, Val and substituted derivatives thereof, or a direct bond, Z means OH, NH2, substituted NH2, wherein the substituent is alkyl, alkenyl, alkynyl, alkoxy, hydroxyalkyl or cycloalkyl each containing from 1 to 8 carbon atoms. The invention relates furthermore to a process for the preparation said compounds and pharmaceutical compositions containing the same for traitment of cancer.
