Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a battery sensor for detecting at least one battery parameter, having a battery terminal for making contact with a battery pole of a vehicle battery, a cable connection electrically connected to the battery terminal, and a detection device for the at least one battery parameter. The detection device is electrically arranged between the battery terminal and the cable connection, wherein the battery terminal has an annular section for receiving the battery pole and a retaining section arranged on the annular section for making electrical contact with the cable connectionand/or the detection device; and the battery sensor has a housing at least partially surrounding the detection device. At least one support element separate from the retaining section is provided onthe annular section, the support element is received in the housing in a positively locking manner.
