Zusammenfassung:	The invention is directed to a method for grinding a printing form in the area of flexographic or relief printing wherein the material to be ground is an elastomer material or an elastomer-containing material. A feed or first speed (v) is imparted to the material to be ground. The material is grindingly abraded with a grinding belt or grinding paper moving at a second speed (V) at least five times greater than the first speed (v).
