Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hollow fiber membrane module and a hollow fiber membrane module unit which can attain space saving, cost reduction and high working efficiency when maintenance is performed by omitting an external piping.SOLUTION: The hollow fiber membrane module 1 is provided with a cylindrical container 3, a hollow fiber membrane bundle 2 formed of a large number of hollow fiber membranes arranged in the cylindrical container 3 and lids 6a, 6b arranged at both ends of the cylindrical container 3. The hollow fiber membrane bundle 2 is fixed to both ends of the cylindrical container 3 by adhesion so that one end side or both end sides are in an open state. Further, one or more pairs of side nozzles 5 facing each other are formed at the outer peripheral surface of the cylindrical container 3.
