Zusammenfassung:	Method and apparatus for automated trimming of vegetation, wherein a moving mechanism and a cutting element with a cutting edge connected to a connecting unit is used for trimming the opposite side of vegetation. The apparatus consists of a moving mechanism (6) and a cutting element (4) with cutting edges (2). The cutting element (4) is connected to the moving mechanism (6) by a connecting unit (3). The moving mechanism (6) consists of a forced path (5) formed in three dimensions and a carriage (7) moving on it. The apparatus is located on one side of the vegetation (1) or between the vegetation (1). The connecting unit (3) is coupled to the carriage (7) and it is movable transversally to the path of the carriage (7). The apparatus is equipped with a moving unit (8). The apparatus is provided with a rotating motor (21).
