Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a flexible metal pipe spirally wound from profiled metal strips, wherein the width of the strip profiles is greater than the axial pitch measured at the direction of the principal axis of the flexible metal pipe, and the profiles may slide over one another as the flexible metal pipe is bent the essential feature of the invention being that the strip profile is made from at least two substantially or partially overlapping strips (1, 2, 3 . . . i). The invention also relates to manufacturing the above product, to apparatus for manufacturing the product, as well as to the application of the flexible metal pipe according to the invention.
