Zusammenfassung:	The device for the securing of loads on a transporting vehicle has an extended safety component (1) anchored in a locking unit (2) by a retaining element which comprises at least one locking cam and at least one safety cam. At least one location pocket (3) is provided for the safety component, and the safety component has at least one recess serving as a hand grip. The locking unit is in rail form with a first rail having locking teeth on an edge section and a second rail having a continuous edge section.
