Also claimed are: (1) a method for controlling undesirable plant spp., comprising applying a cpd. (I) to foliage or to soil or water contg. seeds or other propagules; (2) a method for controlling undesirable plant spp. in transplanted rice, comprising applying a cpd. (I) to soil or water contg. seeds or other propagules of the plants after the rice has been transplanted; and (3) a herbicidal compsn. comprising a cpd. (I) and a carrier.
