METHOD FOR GROWING ALGAE OF IMPROVED BIOLOGIC FEATURE AND BEAUTY AND BODY HYGIENIC PREPARATIONS CONTAINING THE SUCH PRODUCED ALGAE

A nutrient soln. consisting of natural, respectively carbonated, medicinal and thermal waters or their mixts., is enriched by metallic ions to raise their respective concns. to 10 power-2 moles/l., and sterilised at or below 10 bars pressure and 100-140 deg.C and inoculated with a pure culture of algae. - Carbon dioxide (0.5-2.5 vol.%) contg. sterile air is bubbled through at room temp. and the algae are removed after growing for 7-30 days ay 0-80 deg.C. Algae, in this case are chemically or polyaxially treated by known methods, and metallic cpds. are added to reach a respective ion concn. of 10 power-2 mole/kg. Cosmetic products contain 0.05-95 wt.% of treated algae based on total solids and in this case 0.05-50% active additives as propolis globin, protein, dried powder of plant origin and known cosmetic additives pref. oils of plant and animal sources, fats, surfactants, preservatives liquid or solid diluents are also added.
