INSECTICIDE AND NEMATOCIDE COMPOSITIONS CONTAINING ASYMMETRIC THIOPHOSPHONATES

Compounds having the formula in which R, R1 and R2 are alkyl of 1 to 6 carbon atoms, R2 is a branched alkyl of from 3 to 8 carbon atoms; R1 and R2 are different and R2 is preferably branched alkyl; and their use as insecticides and nematocides, e.g., in controlling corn rootworm, is disclosed.
