Zusammenfassung:	A device for the explosive shaping of hollow bodies in a die, the novelty being that of a lower traverse is provided with a guide and location device for the bottom half of the die while an upper traverse is fitted with a guide and locking device for the top half of the die; a shooter head is mounted on the upper traverse, and a damping unit and an ejector mechanism are located on the upper- and/or the lower-traverse. The two die halves may consist of segments contg. various impressions, and the bottom half of the die can pref. be moved both horizontally and vertically while the upper half is stationary or moves vertically. The shooter head is pref. a known type of core-shooter head and the damping unit may be hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical or inertial. Mass prodn. explosive shaping, esp. for mfg. axle-housing for motor vehicles.
