PHARMACEUTICAL COMBINATION OF ANGIOTENSIN II ANTAGONISTS AND ANGIOTENSIN I CONVERTING ENZYME INHIBITORS

Treatment of indications: (A) influenced by inhibition of AT 1mediated effects with maintenance of AT 2receptor mediated effects of Angiotensin II (ANG II) and by ACE inhibition to increase bradykinin mediated effects; or (B) associated with the increase of AT 1receptors in the sub-epithelial area or AT 2receptors in the epithelia comprises co-administration of ANG II antagonist and an ACE inhibitor. An independent claim is also included for a method for the treatment of elevated blood pressure or congestive heart failure comprising co-administration of the ACE inhibitor ramipril with the ANG II antagonist telmisartan.
