LA INVENCION SE DIVULGA UNA TAPA DISPENSADORA PARA LA MEZCLA DE UNA SUSTANCIA FLUIDA PRIMARIA, TAL COMO UN JABON, LOCION O SIMILARES, CON UNA PEQUEÑA DOSIS DE UNA SUSTANCIA FLUIDA SECUENDARIS, TAL COMO UNA FRAGANCIA. LA TAPA DISPENSADORA INCLUYE UNA PLURILIDAD DE DEPOSITOS QUE CONTIENEN UNA PLURALIDAD DE SUSTANCIAS SECUNDARIAS. CADA UNO DE LOS DEPOSITOS ESTA ASOCIADO CON UN PISTON SECUNDARIO QUE, CUANDO ES SECCIONADO, HACE QUE LA SUSTANCIA FLUIDA SECUNDARIA SEA EXPELIDA DESDE EL DEPOSITO HACIA UNA CAMARA DE MEZCLA EN LA TAPA, EN DONDE ES MEZCLADA CON LA SUSTANCIA FLUIDA PROMARIA. LUEGO DE LA MEZCLA LAS DOS SON DISPENSADAS JUNTAS DESDE UN EXTREMO DISPENSADOR DE LA TAPA. SE PROVEE UN ANILLO SELECTOR QUE PERMITE QUE EL USUARIO SELECCIONE UNO DE LA PLURALIDAD DE DEPOSITOS. EL ANILLO SELECTOR TIENE UNA PESTAÑA DE ACTIVACION QUE SE ALINEA CON EL PISTON SECUNDARIO QUE ESTA ASOCIADO CON EL DEPOSITO SELECCIONADO. A dispensing cap (1) is disclosed for mixing a primary flowable substance, such as a soap, lotion, or the like, with a small dose of a secondary flowable substance, such as a fragrance. The dispensing cap (1) includes a plurality of reservoirs (2a, 2b, 2c) containing a plurality of secondary flowable substances. Each of the reservoirs is associated with a secondary piston (14a, 14b, 14c) that, when actuated, causes the secondary flowable substance to be expelled from the reservoir into a mixing chamber (4) in the cap, where it is mixed with the primary flowable substance. Upon mixing the two are dispensed together from a dispensing end of the cap. A selector ring (36) is provided to enable the user to select one of the plurality of reservoirs. The selector ring (36) has an actuation flange (48) that aligns with the secondary piston that is associated with the selected reservoir. The selector ring (36) is engaged with the main piston so, as the primary flowable substance is introduced into the mixing chamber (4) via movement of the main piston, the selector ring and flange are pressed down onto the selected secondary piston, which expels a quantity of selected secondary flowable substance into the mixing chamber. The mixing chamber (4) may have mixing vanes or other physical features to enhance mixing of the primary and secondary flowable substances. The cap may have a lockout feature (200a, 200b, 200c) that prevents actuation if the selected reservoir is empty.
