Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a castor (1) for a transport device, in particular for a shopping cart (100) for conveyance on a travelator having a longitudinally grooved surface, wherein the castor (1) has a wheel (10) with at least one groove (11), which wheel (10) is accommodated in a fork (12) for rotation about an axis (13), and wherein the castor (1) has a cover plate (14) arranged on its sides respectively serving as a thread guard and arranged such that it is resting on the fork (12), and wherein the castor (1) has at least one support foot (15) for support on the longitudinally grooved surface of the travelator, wherein the support foot (15) is configured on a bottom-side extension (16) of the cover plate (14). According to the present invention, the support foot (15) is materially bonded to the bottom-side extension (16) of the cover plate (14), and has an outer contour (A1) which transitions without interruption into an outer contour (A2) of the cover plate (14).
