Zusammenfassung:An electronic timepiece, which comprises a circuit for encoding an externally supplied voice and a semiconductor memory for memorizing the encoded voice data. The voice data memorized in the semiconductor memory is read out when a preset time is reached, and the data thus read out is converted into a voice signal which is coupled to a sound producing device such as a loudspeaker for the reproduction of the voice.
