Zusammenfassung:	This rice cooker is provided with a control unit (3) that, when a specific rice cooking menu item has been selected via a menu selection unit (4) and the start of rice cooking has been instructed by a start instruction unit (5), controls a heating device (2) on the basis of the specific rice cooking menu item selected via the menu selection unit (4), and cooks an item to be cooked within a cooking vessel (1). When a received-information reading unit (9) has received menu selection information from a wireless communication terminal (30) via a wireless communication unit (7), the control unit (3) controls the heating device (2) on the basis of the menu selection information in the place of the specific rice cooking menu item selected via the menu selection unit (4), and cooks the item to be cooked within the cooking vessel (1).
