Zusammenfassung:	A component measurement device, namely a blood-glucose measurement device (10), that has a measurement unit (50) that focuses measurement light (Li) on a test paper (70) through an illumination lens (88a) and receives reflected light (Lr) from said test paper (70). Said blood-glucose measurement device measures blood components on the basis of results from detecting said reflected light (Lr). The illumination lens (88a) is provided in the measurement unit (50) such that the focal point (P) of the measurement light (Li) is beyond the test paper (70).
