REAGENT KIT FOR ANALYZING APPARATUS

The present invention relates to a reagent kit (10), adapted for use in an analyzing apparatus having a pipetting device and a reagent container opening/closing device, the reagent kit (10) comprising: a reagent container support structure (14), at least one reagent container (18) with a top-side opening, the reagent container (18) being mountable or provided on the reagent container support structure (14), the reagent kit (10) further comprising a reagent container cap (16) associated to the reagent container (18), the reagent container cap (16) being mountable or provided on the reagent container support structure (14), wherein the reagent container cap (16) comprises a cap body (20), a lid (22) hinged to the cap body (20) so as to be pivotable around a pivot axis (P) at least between a closed position and an opened position, and engagement means (40) which are adapted to cooperate with the reagent container opening/closing device (80) in order to pivot the lid (22) between the closed position and opened position, wherein, when the reagent container (18) and the reagent container cap (16) are provided on the reagent container support structure (14), and when the lid (22) is in the closed position, in a plan view on the top side of the reagent kit (10), an end portion (20e) of the cap body (20) opposite to the pivot axis (P) is not covered by the lid (22).
