Zusammenfassung:Studies involving placebo-controlled, double-blinded designs to evaluate the effect of beta-glucan compositions on upper-respiratory tract infections and psychological wellness were carried out. During the course of the reporting periods of these studies, subjects in the treatment groups reported fewer URTI symptoms, better overall health and a more positive psychological assessment based on a POMS survey.
