Zusammenfassung:	A folding chair is provided to enable a user to fold the chair with one hand, to be carried without difficulty and to improve the exterior thereof when being stood by itself in the folding state. A folding chair includes a couple of front legs(11), a couple of rear legs(12) and a seat portion(13). The seat portion is supported by the front legs and rear legs downwardly, and the upper surface(13B) of the seat portion is used as a seat surface. The rear edge of the seat portion is gripped and lifted with the rear leg as a rear side in the seat portion. The seat portion is rotated to make the upper surface of the seat portion be a front side. Then, the front and the rear legs approach each other and are folded.
