Zusammenfassung:	Disclosed is a protective cap for receptacles filled with medical liquids, particularly receptacles filled with liquids used for infusions or transfusions. Said protective cap comprises a front wall (1) and a sidewall (2). The front wall is provided with a first tearable part (10) that is joined to a first grip part (16) as well as a second tearable part (11) which is connected to a second grip part (17) such that the tearable part (10, 11) can be separated from the front wall by pulling on the grip part (16, 17) in order to expose a pricking point (4, 5). The first and second grip part (16, 17) are embodied as tearable rings in the form of a compressed circle. The tearable rings are disposed at a distance from the front wall (1) in such a way that the exterior sections (16A, 17A) thereof follow the contour of the sidewall (2) while the interior sections (16C, 17C) thereof face each other.
