Beschreibung
Zusammenfassung:Disclosed is a rocker bearing, preferably for chassis components of motor vehicles, comprising a tubular articulated housing (8) that forms a cylindrical interior space and receives a metallic inner part (1) and an elastomer member (5) which surrounds the inner part (1) and is arranged so as to adhere thereto. Said elastomer member (5) is axially prestressed in the direction of the longitudinal axis of the articulated housing by means of interposed annular stops (6, 7) that are embodied as bearing shells, are connected in an adhesive manner to the elastomer member, and cooperate with corresponding protrusions (10) which extend into the interior space of the articulated housing (8). At least one of said protrusions is formed by a spring retention ring (11) that is inserted into a radial depression (12) of the interior space of the articulated housing (8). The lateral face of said spring retention ring (11), which faces the center of the interior space, rests against one of the axial exterior faces (13) of one of the annular stops. Said axial exterior face (13) of the annular stop (6), which faces the spring retention ring (11), is provided with a circular recess (14) that radially extends on the outer edge of the annular stop (6), the annular stop (6) cooperating with the spring retention ring (11). The spring retention ring (11) engages into said recess (14) in the assembled state of the rocker bearing. The inventive design ensures that the spring retention ring remains in the predetermined position thereof even when the rocker bearing is subject to great dynamic loads.
