Zusammenfassung:	Texture masked particles and chewable tablets made therefrom are disclosed. The texture masked particles are comprised of a core containing an active ingredient, an optional first coating layer comprised of a taste masking agent that substantially covers the core; and a second coating layer, which optionally may substantially cover the first coating layer or the core, comprised of a film forming polymer and a anti-grit-agent. The particles may be produced into a tablet form, such as a chewable tablet form, that provides for the immediate release of the active ingredient.
