Zusammenfassung:The integrated circuit (205,200) include upstream and downstream transceivers respectively. The transceivers are capable of communicating at a low speed of 1.5 megabits per second and at high speed of 12 megabits a second complying with universal serial bus (USB) specifications. The downstream transceiver includes a voltage regulator (275) which sinks and sources current to maintain a constant voltage during high speed communication. The upstream transceiver includes two identical high speed current drivers (160,170). An independent claim is also included for a method of configuring transceiver to transmit and receive high frequency signals.
