Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: To provide an asphalt composition having excellent solubility in straight asphalt and high storage stability at a high temperature and exhibiting well-balanced elongation, toughness, tenacity and a softening point. CONSTITUTION: The copolymer (composition) for the modification of asphalt contains (a) a block copolymer expressed by general formula (I); A1-B-A2 and (b) a block copolymer expressed by general formula (II); (A1-B-A2)nX at an (a)/(b) weight ratio of (40-100)/(60-0) and has a weight-average molecular weight of 100,000-300,000. The asphalt composition is produced by dissolving the block copolymer composition to straight asphalt.
