Zusammenfassung:A specific DNA sequence can be used in the process to obtain human gamma -interferon. The gene is advantageously synthesised in the form of several fragments which are enzymatically ligated to give larger part-sequences which are incorporated into hybrid plasmids and amplified in host organisms. The part-sequences are reisolated and then combined to give the complete gene, which is incorporated into a hybrid plasmid, and the latter is expressed in a host organism.
