Zusammenfassung:	A low density abrasion-resistant non woven aramid sheet made by expanding a dried, wet-laid sheet of fibrids and fibres, which has self-bonded regions made with heat and pressure. The re-wet sheet is heated dielectrically to expand the interior of the non densified portions without substantially roughening or disrupting their surface skin. The sheet may be used in upholstered furniture, especially in aircraft seat cushions and similar applications.
