Insecticidal compounds of formula I where R is hydrogen, alkyl or alkenyl; X is oxygen or sulphur; each R , which may be the same of different, is halogen, alkyl, haloalkyl, cyano, nitro, alkoxy, haloalkoxy, alkylthio, haloalkylthio, alkylsulphonyloxy, alkylsulphonyl, alkoxycarbonyl or acyl or two adjacent R groups together with the carbons to which they are attached form a 5 to 7 membered ring which may comprise one or more oxygen atoms and may be substituted; m is 0 to 4; either a) R is hydrogen and one of R and R is phenyl, para substituted by the group R , and the other is hydrogen; or b) R and R are both alkyl and R is phenyl para substituted by the group R ; R and R which may be the same or different, are R SO2O, hydrogen, halogen, alkyl, haloalkoxy, alkylthio or alkylsulphonyl, wherein R is alkyl or haloalkyl; with the proviso that at least one of R and R is R SO2O or at least R is haloalkoxy.
