By means of alternating magnetic field the transverse movement of plasma arc with the amplitude not exceeding 3,5d is carried out , wherein d is a diameter of the plasmotrone nozzle channel. In the plasmotrone nozzle channel the density of the current power is maintained in the range I=(1,5-7,5) A/mm2, and the expenditure of the plasma formation medium is determined by the formula: Q=(0,095 - 1,55)J√d, where J- is the current amount of the plasma arc ampere; d - is a diameter of the plasmotrone nozzle channel, mm; Q - the expenditure of the plasma formation medium m3/h. 3.
