Zusammenfassung: | 993, 404. Lace machines. LACE RESEARCH ASSOCIATION. March 5, 1962 [Dec. 3, 1960], No. 41668/60. Heading D1C. A stop motion for a Leavers' and go-through lace machine comprises a pivoted dropper 9 for each thread, supported at one end by an eye 9a engaged by the thread and adapted to pivot about a supporting rod 11 to engage an electrical contact bar 12 in the event of a thread failure. The droppers are in the form of spring clips and are arranged to be clipped within grooves formed in the rod 11 which is in the circuit of an electrical stop motion so that upon a dropper pivoting on yarn failure it engages bar 12 and completes the circuit whereby a warning is given or the machine stopped. The grooves may be of parallel and endless annular form or they may be constituted by convolutions of a long helical groove. |
