The holder body 1 of rectangular crosssection has a tapered nose in which is formed a parallel walled recess 2 to accommodate a shoe 6. A bore 3 is formed in the end wall of the recess to take the end 9 of a clamping strap member 8. A cross bore in the latter has a taper 10 engaged by a partly-screwed and correspondingly tapered pin 12 which passes through the body and draws the strap member rearwardly. Tip 7 and shoe 6 are arranged within the aperture of the strap member which is then clamped by the pin 12. A height adjustment screw 18 is provided to engage the underside of the tip.
