Improvements in or relating to methods of producing magnetic alloy films
Magnetic films are produced by vaporizing an alloy containing in percentage by weight .Co.0.5-30 .Ni.50 -86 .Fe.14 -20, the amount of cobalt being selected to give the desired value of anisotropy field, and subsequently depositing the alloy on the surface of a substrate positioned within an aligning...

Zusammenfassung: | Magnetic films are produced by vaporizing an alloy containing in percentage by weight .Co.0.5-30 .Ni.50 -86 .Fe.14 -20, the amount of cobalt being selected to give the desired value of anisotropy field, and subsequently depositing the alloy on the surface of a substrate positioned within an aligning metal field. The alloy is vaporized at about 1600 DEG C. at a pressure not exceeding 5X10-5 mm. of mercury and the substrate is maintained at about 300 DEG C. U.S.A. Specification 2,900,282 is referred to. |
