Zusammenfassung: | A weldable heat- and creep-resistant alloy has the following percentage composition: the Ti+Al content being correlated with the Ti/Al ratio so that the composition lies within the area ABCD. The Mo may be wholly or partly replaced by an equal atomic percentage of W and the following may also be present: Si up to 0.5; Mn up to 0.5; Co up to 1. The alloy is solution-heated at 1020-1150 DEG C., aircooled and aged at 650-850 DEG C. for 2-16 hours. The solution-heating is for 2-30 minutes for thin sections, i.e. less than 3/16 inch, and 2-8 hours for thicker sections. |
