In a T-shaped napkin comprising a main strip 10 and transverse wings 11 of towelling &c., tapes 12 are attached to the ends of the wings and one or more loops 13 are provided on the outer surface of the strip 10, so that, after the end of the strip 10 has been folded over, the napkin may be secured in position on a baby by passing the tapes around the body and through a selected loop and tying the ends together. An elasticized tape 14 is provided at the winged end of the napkin. '
