Zusammenfassung: | 908,708. Frying-ranges. NUTTALL (ROCHDALE) Ltd., HENRY. April 14, 1960 [April 21, 1959], No. 13471/59. Class 126. [Also in Group VI] Cooking-apparatus, e.g. a frying-range, comprises a pan beneath which is a chamber 13 housing the burners 13a, 13b or other heating means in which a circuitous path or paths is or are formed for the exhaust gases from the burners or the like, blades 21 or other members depending from the bottom of the pan down into contact with the refractory brick lower wall 13 of the chamber being set at an angle to the gas flow to cause turbulence. As shown, the side walls 11 of the pan extend downwardly to form the side walls 12 of the chamber 13 in which two circuitous paths are formed by baffle plates 19, 20. The pan bottom 10 slopes upwardly at the rear to a fume outlet 16 which communicates with the fume exhausting system of the range and may be controlled by a damper. In addition to plates 21 bottom 10 carries studs 14. Fumes from the pan are removed through a hood 22 connected to a trunk 23 associated with the exhaust system of the range and having a damper 24 to control the amount of external air drawn in and hence the flow through hood 22. |
