An agricultural machine such as a plough, disc plough or cultivater adapted to be carried by a tractor having a three point linkage comprises a carrier shaft 1 which is pivotally mounted and is provided with an upwardly directed member 4a for attachment to the upper link 3 of the tractor and a downwardly directed member 4b connected by a rod 5 to an intermediate point on the machine, a landwheel 9 being provided in the machine in rear of the centre of gravity thereof. As shown the plough beam 11 is connected to the shaft 1 by members provided with slots 7a, 7b.
